ABC's April Meeting
We are featuring some of Michigan's Top Photographers. They will show you what is new in photography. Covering the following topics:
1. Bring your camera and learn how to take a better photo for your blogs and websites of the events that you do. It is not always possible for the photographer to take the photos that we want to showcase our work as consultants, since they are with the couple.
2. What are the different styles of photography: artistic, photo-journalistic, storytelling, traditional, etc. You will see each style and know why each is important for your couples to use. You will learn how these photographers use each style.
3. You will learn the latest trends in Photography. You will also learn why engagements sessions are important for your couple to do.
4. You will learn what photographers want from their couples and their wedding planners. Remember at a wedding - we are all team players - we need to work together for the best wedding possible. We will also discuss timelines for photographers and how to make the day as stress free as possible

The Concept
On a business trip to Chicago, Laura Davis and Lindsey Nartker began brainstorming ideas on how to bring together wedding planners from a variety of backgrounds to share ideas and inspiration behind running a successful wedding consulting business.
During this trip, they met with one of the top coordinators in Chicago who commented that
everyone in the industry has something to learn and share with each other – from the newest consultants to the seasoned veterans.
The Business of Weddings is a series of focused roundtable discussions that provides an open forum for exchanging ideas on the fundamentals of owning and operating a successful wedding consulting business.
